All about me….
So much to say, so little room to say it!
Born in Hereford, living in Italy. Would like to say I’m under 40? I live with Rufus and Dino . Rufus is 15, Dino is 18 months. They are Bearded Collies and truly wonderful dogs.
I’m a Project Manager for a local engineering company and I’m very good. I have taught English here (I’m very good at that too), I manage some web sites (I’m getting better), I train hounds (well, dogs), do some general dog behaviour therapy (actually it’s more like owner therapy) and I run a few companies. All good fun.
These days I can walk mountains, ice skate, cycle, drive on the wrong side of the road, read books, create lessons, create web sites, host web sites, sort out computer problems and all sorts of other stuff.
I make a mean Nan’s Trifle, Lemon Meringue Pie, Roast Goose and will, someday, share these recipes with others.
I am lovably disorganised and always work better when I have a deadline to keep (in fact, without one, forget it - there’s always tomorrow).
I love:-, books, the Hay Festival, the Mantova Festival, Kate Mosse, Maya Angelou, Metafix, Joan Armatrading, Italy, Milan, Italians, Food (anything, but particularly Japanese, Italian, Indian and certain English dishes), Wine (although I know almost nothing about it) and Cocktails.
Lived with V for over 20 years till late 2009. For almost a year I was on my own and now I am with F, who is Italian. I hope it will continue for a long time yet………….
